How a piece is made
- The block comes first. The shape follows the stone rather than the other way round. A block with dramatic veining goes to a piece with big flat faces that can show it off.
- Cut, not assembled. Openings and offsets are cut out of solid material, which is the only way to keep the grain running through.
- Finished by hand. Edges eased, inner faces polished, and every tool mark taken out.
- Sealed and padded. The porous stones get sealed before they leave us, and every base is felt-padded so it will not mark your floor.
Made to order, including to your size
Nothing sits in a warehouse. We cut each order when it comes in, which is why a standard piece takes 8-10 working days. It is also why the dimensions are negotiable. Every product page has a Special Request button. Give us the height, width and length you need and the stone you want, including one we do not normally carry, and we will come back with a price.
The terms, plainly
- 50% online to begin manufacturing, 50% on delivery in cash or InstaPay.
- Free delivery across Cairo & Giza.
- We deliver to every governorate in Egypt; shipping outside Cairo & Giza is quoted when we confirm your order.
- Your piece will not match the photograph exactly. That is rather the point.
