Who we are

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm the order and receive your 50% deposit. We may decline an order, for example if a marble is unavailable or an address is outside our delivery range, in which case any deposit received is refunded in full.

Prices

Prices are shown in Egyptian Pounds and may change without notice. The price that applies to your order is the price confirmed at the time we accept it. Shipping outside Cairo & Giza is quoted separately and confirmed before you are charged.

Payment

50% paid online to begin manufacturing, 50% on delivery, cash or InstaPay. Full terms are in the Payment Terms policy.

Made-to-order pieces

All pieces are cut to order. Standard lead time is 8-10 working days in Cairo & Giza. Custom sizes are quoted individually. Estimated dates are given in good faith; occasional delay caused by material supply is possible and we will always tell you as soon as we know.

Special Requests

A Special Request is a request for a quotation, not an order. Nothing is manufactured and nothing is charged until you accept the price we quote.

Product descriptions

We describe our pieces as accurately as we can. Photographs are of real pieces, but stone is natural: veining, colour and inclusions vary from piece to piece, and screens render colour differently. Variation is not a defect.

Delivery and risk

Risk in the piece passes to you on delivery. Please inspect before the driver leaves.

Returns

Made-to-order pieces are not returnable for change of mind. Damage and defects are covered, see Returns & Refunds.

Intellectual property

The AUREMAR name, designs, photographs and website content belong to AUREMAR and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

Liability

Our liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Egyptian law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your order is the version that applies to it.
