Marble · Tandra Grey
A warm limestone that reads in straight horizontal grain rather than veining. The open pores are filled and honed to a soft matte, so it stays quiet under lamplight instead of bouncing it back. This is the easiest of our stones to live with. It sits happily next to oak, boucle and brushed brass, and it takes the chill off a room that leans grey.

The piece
The calmest thing in the collection. A 45 cm round top sits on two interlocking slabs that make a cross when you look down on it. The proportions are deliberately old-fashioned: nothing cantilevers, nothing overhangs. Buy this one when you want the stone rather than the statement.

Styling it
The most useful height we make. At 50 cm it sits comfortably beside a low sofa, works as a bedside table, and looks good in a pair placed at different spots in the same room.
Caring for Tandra Grey
Dust with a soft dry cloth. Use a neutral pH stone cleaner for marks. Avoid abrasive pads, which will burnish the honed finish unevenly.
